This map of Kenya shows the distribution of ethnic groups among the country. Besides the Kikuyu/Mera, most of the other ethnicities are fairly in the same percentile range. Many of the ethnic groups in Africa originated from the local tribes that set foot on the continent thousands of years ago. The ethnicities may very but the major languages are the same, consisting of English and Swahili.

Cultural and Biodiversity in Kenya

As stated above in my essay on the cultural and biodiversity of Kenya, the elephant is a religious figure representing strength and power. The elephant population is also in great danger of extinction because of illegal poaching for their ivory tusks. The poaching of these animals also creates a threat to the future population regarding size and strength.
